Our People
The senior management team comprise of the following persons:
Dr Ahmad Ibrahim – Chairman: He has been served in various
capacities with the Malaysian Palm Oil Board for more than 30
years.
He is one of the world’s leading experts on palm oil.
En Samsuddin Marsop – Adviser: He has some 30 years of
working experience with the Malaysian Government and the corporate
sector.
Whilst with the government, he has served in various
capacities including as the Chief Executive of the Malaysia External
Trade Development
Corporation and the Deputy-Secretary General of
the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
Kabur Ibrahim – Chief Executive Officer: He has some 22 years
working experience with the Malaysian government and the corporate
sector. Whilst working with the government he has served as the
Malaysian Trade Commissioner in Belgium and South Africa under the
Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
He has also served as a consultant to the Malaysian Palm Oil
Promotion Council for the African continent.
Kabur Ibrahim has
traveled extensively throughout the world covering more than 70
countries to organize and participate in numerous
market promotion
programs including trade missions, trade fairs, marketing seminars
and conferences, direct selling, e-commerce,
counter trade, visit
programs etc
Koh Seetiang - General Manager:
For over 10 years, Seetiang Koh has been engaged as Field Advisor
for the United Nations Industrial
Development Organization (UNIDO),
Chief Technical Advisor (CTA) for UNDP and FAO funded project in
Papua New Guinea, Team Member
of The World Bank Third Credits to
China & Consultant for The World Bank to appraise and subsequently
review World Bank funded rubber projects
in Yunnan Province, People
Republic of China.
In 1980 he has also served as the Adviser to the Papua New Guinea Government Delegates to attend the “Papuan Rubber Pool” Trade Negotiation with the
Australian Tire Manufacturers Association in Sydney.
He obtained his Bachelor of Science from Pacific Western University Los Angeles, holds a Diploma in Business Administration & Diploma in Financial Management
from The Institute of Professional Managers UK (now The Institute Of Management), and Diploma in Natural Rubber Processing from The Rubber Research
Institute of Malaysia.
